After the last two games Towcester travelled to Derby with aspirations of giving the home side a good run for their money.
How wrong it turned out to be .
Derby started the match with very direct straight running to get points on the board within the first minutes of the game.
The defence from Towcester normally fairly solid was slightly wanting throughout the game.
The home side managed to break through most of the first up tackles to gain momentum from every attack they made.
19 points up within the first twenty minutes, it took a break from Cam Young to get the only points of the day for Towcester.
Derby hit back with 3 more tries before half time.
The second half continued in a similar vein to the first.
Every time Tows made a move the home side turned the ball over and counter producing a score of their own.
A very tough day but beaten by a good rugby side that should be challenging for the title with Syston.
This week is a home fixture against Lutterworth and Towcester need to get that winning feeling again.
