A very warm welcome to all the mini & junior section volunteers, parents & players.

Our Mini & Junior Section caters for young players from the ages of 6 up to 17, organised into year groups with some year groups having more than one team. Both girls and boys are welcome and train & play together until U11’s level (inclusive). Each age group has qualified coaching staff and all sessions are geared towards enjoyment and the development of young players to their full potential.

All age groups fall into categories of Rugby as prescribed in the RFU continuum.

Coaching sessions are held on Sunday mornings (10am - 12 noon), we encourage all players & parent’s to be prompt in the mornings, enabling the Team Manager & Coaches to optimize the valuable time.

Games/matches are scheduled throughout the year according to the structured season, the website is maintained on a regular basis and you are encouraged to use this to find the weekly information.

The section continues to thrive from the dedication of its volunteers. The club is not funded purely by the subscriptions you pay, but also by sponsorship, proceeds from bar & kitchen takings and minimal sports grants. We benefit from some extremely committed people who help to keep things running throughout the season, but we are always in need of additional support. If you would like to help out and can spare a little time each week I would be pleased to hear from you, the reward does come in seeing a thriving club with 300+ children enjoying their rugby both on and off the pitch. All parents of players are requested to help out either in the kitchen, BBQ or car park marshalling on their team's duty weekend, so when your age group manager asks for your help on those Sundays, please make yourselves available.
