Having written out 4 different team sheets during the week due to the amount of changes and the first 10 minutes of the game no one would have expected the final result.
Tows scored an unconverted try first but soon conceded after some poor defence, ON's No8 picking off the back of a scrum and running in unchallenged. 15 minutes in prop Joe Chambers hyper extended his elbow and had to leave the field, much to the disappointment of ON's as Tows had no official front row replacement and ON's had the bigger pack and were dominating the scrum. However be careful what you wish for as Andrew Burley stepped in and the scrums remained contested, no further dominance, the 19 stone 2nd row more than held his own for the rest of the game.
Tows scored two more tries before ON's registered their last score of the game, Benjamin Rowe made a clearance kick which cannoned off the referee straight into the arms of the ON's centre who ran in unopposed.
Tows then dominated the rest of the game running tries in from everywhere, the pack delivered the ball for Benjamin Rowe and Ben Nichols to break the defence, Ben Nichols scoring 6 tries, Ryan Blackwell 2, Gus Hopewell 3, Ronnie Speakman 2.
Great performance with some improvement from the opening game but still plenty to work on.
